if your doing the full nonvol use the backup & restore tab



or if your stupid and using individual certs it's the baseline privacy teb

i try to insert the non vol and still not working in my area. bpi+... this is from diffrent node. the nonvol is confirm to be working at a diffrent node with bpi+. what am i missing?

a telnet log (i do make myself giggle sometimes)

Thanks drewmerc may I ask why u said stupid because I have to go that way since I don't have 2mb back up from sub I only have there mac and 5 text format files cmfactoryCACertificate, cmfactoryCMCertificate, cmfactoryrootcertificate, cmfactoryRSAPrivatekey, cmfactoryRSAPublickey.

you need to use the certtxt then. or the .bat to inject the cert.

stupid because it's a lot more work plus there's more that can go wrong leaving hard to trace errors
there is no reason to use certs alone unless your extracting them via snmp

I have the .cfg file backup from a netgear modem provide from TW, is there a way to extract the cert from the backup .cfg file.

what size is the cfg 32k? if it is just restore it as it's really a nonvol

49.3kb I backup from the sub netgear modem. but how do I put it in haxor modem or extract cert from this .cfg file
