Is it possible to get certs from Cisco 2100 cable modem & put it on SB5101? If anyone already done this, could you tell me how? Thanks in advance.

All certs between modems with BCM3349 are interchangeable:

SB5101/E/i, SB5102/E/i, Webstar DPC2100R2/DPC2100, RCA DCM425, Ambit 250/255/256, Netgear CG814WGv2
hows your Spanish? (i really should translate this) it's a seems good program

anyways cisco 2100 is the same as webstar 2100 (i'm assuming they have not disabled local snmp in a firmware update also disconnect the coax)

gif's removed correct procedure here http://www.haxorware.com/forums/thread-1104.html

ok i had no suitable modems plugged it to show you but you get the idea
Thanks for the quick replied, really appreciated. Just wondering if Cisco DCP2100R2 came with BCM3349? Thanks!
yes
Thanks so much, boss!
Drew,
Tried to dumb the certs (by using IP6 that you provided), and I got the response that the Cisco 2100 factory mode is not on. How to turn on factory mode on the 2100? Thanks.
Finally gave up on the DPC2100, since factory mode was disable. Had tried everything but unable to activate the factory mode, so IP6 was not able to dump any certs.
sucks must have a updated firmware, guess you'll need to use jtag to dump them
i amended the gifs http://www.haxorware.com/forums/thread-1104.html (i actually tried it) ok it's a 5100 but more or less same (just select 2100 instead)
I tried all that Drew, but it could not activate the factory mode. Thank you so much for your help. BTW, have you ever heard about Arris Tm502 modem? Is it possible to dump certs from this modem?
