Goto your network connections and set it up as in the pic before you attempt to get into the firmware gui. If you are using Windows &....choose "IPV4".
Try both:
192.168.100.1:1337
192.168.100.1:666

nope it didnt
ok i connect with hyper terminal but the screen is blank and just blinking but its connect tru 666
the 666 is for the web address not telnet leave the telnet port as default
no it doesn't work on port 23
The instructions I gave for the static ip was so that you can determine which firmware is installed on the modem (to access the gui) and NOT for the telnet log?
