can't you just use snmp, factory mode tool or ip full (shit answer but i just spent the last 40 fucking minutes looking for it but damn i cant find it)

Gain telnet access.
Type cd n/s press enter.
Type allow_config true press enter.
Then type write press enter.
cd /
reset
This should put you into factory mode on the sb5100. Once you're done injecting your certs follow the steps above again but this time instead type allow_config false to get out of factory mode. I have been successful at getting my 5100 back online. It's a tedious process.
