can any one help I have a 250 which I got the other day I when to change the mac but its asking me for a password, I have reflash but its still asking for a password?

telnet is off, I tried to login so I could use telnet to flash the modem.

is there a workaround for this??? or is the modem fooked...

default is root/admin, if you changed it then its your fault....
if you can "reflash" then just erase the FS area, and it will reset everything to defaults (including no password prompt)
