I do not really understand how the system works "haxorware," it is a firmware?

I searched a lot about it, but there is not much information.

I can "unlock" my modem, or update the firmware with the "haxorware"?

the model and brand are:

D-Link ADSL2 + Router DSL-2640B

No, go back to haxorware.com it will list compatible models.

ADSL and DSL are not DOCSIS compliant modems...
