You cant..Your a Bridge between you and the UBR which is a router and can forward ports via CLI and the ISP.
Unless you know your UBR's password and access IP, you need to call your ISP and allow what ports they blocked opened
Time Warner guy came and installed it for us, I'm not sure how this stuff works.
II'm under the radar. We aren't under Time Warner, so I wouldn't be able to ask them to open any ports.
I'm trying to buy a Motorola SB6121 SURFboard; would I be able to port foward then?
No...A modem is a bridge...Modems with routers can forward ports, but if the port is blocked @ the CMTS, its useless
Login to your CMTS and open the ports yourself..

DPC2100 connected to the linksys WRT54G router. Opened ports on router, can't open ports on modem because there is no option.
So, you're saying for me to ask the Cable guy to open the ports for me?
