According to the below link and can't make "PUTTY" link on SE5101E
Don't I "usb - TTL" is bad?

as far as i know the 5101 bootloader is silent

You are going to have JTAG it.... You won't be able to upgrade it with a serial connection. Or you might try an upgrade it using snmp
