hi, can someone please show me the correct way to connect my ambit 250 to my max232 board

i have 4 wires blue, red, white, yellow.


can you show me were to connect on ambit board as theres pins and i know ones isint used but not sure wich,

what is the exact chip on your 232 board, is it MAX232EPE as this is a 5v chip and not the required 3.3v (really this is why i made the recommend tools sticky you could have save all the trouble and money)

anyways data tx to txd-isp, data rx to rxd-isp, gnd(any) to gnd-isp, 3.3v not connected so power the max232 via an external 5v power supply

I have order a RS232 To TTL Converter Module Serial Board MAX232CPE

Input: 3.3V to 5V USB Power.
Output: 5V.

will this work?

just buy a usb ttl cable off ebay http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40...l&_sacat=0

I already have a cable..my broad seems to be broke,
and ordered RS232 To TTL Converter Module Serial Board MAX232CPE

my old chip was cpe
