Already tried that, i never bothered to register with them and now it is a private forum, although i did not buy it from them directly i got it off ebay and i believe it is the same as theirs. Im actually suprised that these files are not in the repositries of other relevant forums

it's 5.the programmer,
i have no idea why anybody would pay that much for it when you could buy a willem for the same price

spi is a really simple protocol too and a bunch of off the shelf chips that can do it at really fast speeds are available for like 3$ and less

the programmer is pricey and the first test clip broke easily at the top,the new test clip worked fine with this programmer and id/spi mode worked fine often first attempt.i have done a few of these 256s' now and all ok.
the clip is supposed to have fixed pins now,it did the job with no more spansion chip swaps so well pleased.

the schematics / software for the ugm programmer are on spiflash.org - no need to buy it, look on ebay, theres a HK seller selling 4 sets of the panoma testclips and leads for the same price as the usm ebay seller sells 1 for... - i prefer the panoma ones, they last a lot longer than the 3m ones... pins arenet anywhere near as fragile
