yes you can a full flash is 8192 KB you will need to read in spi mode

chip
1- chip select
2- data out to data in of reader
3 -------
4- ground Bond it to your reader ov
5- data in to data out of reader
6- clock set the speed of transfer
7- hold bonded to power when in R+W mode
8- Power 3.3v

Are you using pin 7 on the winbond? If so where does it go on the USB Jtag NT pin?
Read in SPI mode but choosing what target (device)??
O.k. never mind. I got it.
I need help I have usbjtagnt and I'll be using the clip so-8 need to see how I would power the chip though don't really wanna void my warranty on my jagtag can someone give me the pinout for jtag and a way to power chip , thanx

USB JTAG NT Winbond
Pin 3 (TDI) => Pin 5 (SI)
Pin 5 (TDO) => Pin 2 (SO)
Pin 9 (TCK) => Pin 6 (SO)
Pin 11 (Reset) => Pin 1 (CS)
Pin 2 (GND) => Pin 4 (GND)

-Use External 3.3V (from USB to TTL Adapter) to power Winbond Pin 8 (VCC)

I created my own target. I youtubed it. It wasn't so hard.
the 5101u has the same chip can i use that as the target to read the chip i have no idea where to start as creating my own target if you read this chip with the usbjtag please dont hold your tongue
