when your modem is booting up, via telnet, is there something your are looking for to get the community string???
you see the public community string (it may be encrypted) anyways having the public key is not very helpful
as it's the private key you want
You can also pull the sting out of your config file.

when i open the file, it has many docsDevNmAccessCommunity lines written. btw im using VultureWare to read the file
