Hi can any body help when connecting up like it says in the haynes cable modem manual then when i have done all like open hyper terminal and other program then power up modem i see nothing does my max232 not sure if i need drivers for the max 232 but if i do can some one point me in the ryt direction.

the haynes manual is very old and out of date
the isp blocked output from the bootloader
use console unlocker and soft jtag (also find a newer guide)
