is there any advantage of original SB5101 diagnostic modem(orange) vs regular SB5101 modded with haxorware?
haxorware has a better webinterface
And the other things, in functionality? Original diagnostic SB5101 have DIAG port on the back of the modem where connects Diagnostic Console Cable, which comes with modem.
the diag port is nothing more that a custom max232 cable to access the telnet interface
theres more ram in a diag but you can also mod your standard modem to have/use the ram

the only reason i would want a diag is to have the orange case (but this is not worth $200 to me anyways)

as always when i get asked these kind of questions i'll say flash the diag firm and give it a try
the diag modem can be flashed via this cable?

well it just a telnet cable so your using normal telnet upgrade instructions (yes)
Can SB5102 docsis modem work in euroDocsis network without modification? Just curious, is there difference in modem hardware in U.S. and euro version, different chip?
Have Moto the diagnostic version of SB6120 docsis 3.0 modem?
no but he has sbv6220 (with breakout boards)
