I'm hoping to finally resolve my dilemma here are some snips of my settings.

i may be a bit drunk but i did not see the signal page
so 2 options i can think of
it's a bad mac or the signal is off

sorry about that drew and once again i appreciate your quickness...
one more question can the mac's be from the same town if yes how far away
do you have a working sub on that line?
i have a dsl and two splitters on the line
without a working sub i cant tell you anything
apart from say try it without the splitters

i don't know what you mean by a working sub sorry for my ignorance.
a working subscribed(payed for) cable modem, not dsl
He has no DS, or has a filter to block the DS...

Its a -29 i see...

And he is TOS all the way
I would go to SBH and post in the SHAW cable section. resolve your signal issues first. get a valid subscribed cable line.
