Yes u can do this modem with a serial cable (recomended) or with a usbjtag. You can even do it via snmp. You need to load hax0 onto it and then you can do whatever u want with it. There is a cpl threads on sbh, I dont know if i am allowed to link them here or not.

It didnt work for my dpx2213, it went through all the steps corectly but just bricked the modem.

But I was able to get hax0 onto it with the webstar jtag converter by daks (

My modem (dpx2213) booted and i was able to access the hax0 page, but the modem would never lock on downstream. But I think the 2203 will work properly.(well based on what I've read in the thread I posted above)
I am looking for the original firmware to dpx/epx2203 (bcm3349)
Any version.
