I will sugar code as much as I can since I do not want to break any rules.
I know this forum is UK but I came to ask for some assistance please
I am from Manhattan, NYC Haxorware 1.1 rev 39 DOCSIS 1.1
I have been using Dog-Sniffer within my node and gathered plenty of 10.xx.xx.xx with config files. I know all those are within my node only so I cannot use them at all only to swap.
My question is can I use the M** number from my other apartment located in the Bronx? It is subscribed to Optimum Online. Or I can only scan within that node using that computer? Both are subscribed by different cable providers. I am trying to gather knowledge about Node limits.
Thank You. You all Sexy. If anyone was from my area I would swap so easily.
forum is not just for uk (it's just that i am, not that this matters as we always get security updates before you yanks)
whats dog-sniffer?? i googled it and got this
whats M** number??
needs to be same provider as they are different networks (not node connected at the ctms backend)
sexy?? i am not and never have been a blue box

DHCP-Sniffer, MAC Number
How do I know when the Node is not connected? That is my main question

Do I check from different distance/miles? Like I have to Sniff every 2 miles and search for open wireless networks and sniff?
I went to the site to check info within my Node and got this:
Your IP 69.69.69.69
Resolved cpe-69-69-69-69.nyc.res.rr.com
Your U** is IP is not a valid Blueyonder or NTL address.
Thank You. If there was a page in this forum for swapping I wouldn't mind ><
i dont know how nodes are assigned were you are but it should be obvious for me it's cable.wigan.ubr12.ipaddress.blueyonder and next node will be cable.wigan.ubr13.ipaddress.blueyonder (for the record i will say using ubr13 would not be a good idea nor would 11 but any other number would be fine)
http://whatismyipaddress.com/ and click additional ip infomation it'll give you your full ip address
this board is located in US so mac swapping is a big no
Yeah I click that and gives me something like this exactly:
Hostname: cpe-12-34-567-89.nyc.res.rr.com
ISP: Road Runner
Organization: Road Runner
Proxy: None detected
Type: Broadband
Assignment: Dynamic IP
It does not give me a ubr# like yours do. I guess because I am from a different country or is there something wrong?
I did click on additional information as well:
Country: United States
State/Region: New York
City: New York
Latitude: xxxxxx
Longitude: xxxxxx
Area Code: 212
by the way i think your sexy.
humm how interesting
what i'd do (no idea if this is worth doing or not) is a trace route to rr.com (quick test i may be right)

sorry about linux i'm at work but you can see where i hit the rr network 7 nyc20.tbone.rr.com
if you trace route from home you should always have the same start point on the network
i'm guessing on a different node you'll have a different start point
