my sb101 was working it stop and now i get all the light on but cant get the internet and when i try to connect to it i cant. windows has a ip of 169.x.x.x and it should be 192.x.x.x how can i get the modem ip back

reflash the modem

or try a fresh nic mac. Unplug coax, fire up putty, export session to txt and connect the coax.

this will tell you what the cmts doesn't like about your modem. Try a fresh nic mac just for the hell of it...see what you get.iff u get 169...then reflash or delete hax file system and upload a donor nonvol with correct stealth settings
