Full Version: CANT ACCESS SETTINGS PAGE MODEM DPC 2100

I RECENTLY CHANGED MY MAC ADDRESS BECAUSE IT HAD STOPPED WORKING SO WANTED TO TRY NEW ONES TO TRY TO GET CONNECTED

IT SAID OPERATIONAL WITH THE MAC ADDRESS WHICK WORKED FOR ABOUT 7 MONTHS

AFTER ENTERING LIKE TWO OR THREE I COULDN'T ACCESS HAXORWARES SETTINGS PAGE THROUGH 192.168.100.1

CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN WHY I CAN'T CHECK MY SETTINGS PAGE

power off modem, remove the coax cable from the modem and then power on, you should be able to get to haxorware panel then. I had same problem
addiction did that over and over even powered down for a day to see if something would reset but burning happened could it be that I bricked the modem while installing different Mac addresses ?

If anyone else has different ideas please advice thank you

see if you can access telnet, if not just reflash
how do I reflash ?
there are videos on youtube showing how to flash haxorware

Before reflashing, try a different PC to get into Haxorware or goto the Local Area Connection's settings and select "Use the following IP address" and enter the following. Afterwards, open your browser and try to get into Haxorware:

IP address: 192.168.100.10
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Default gateway: 192.168.100.1

sure you don't mean


IP: 192.168.1.1
Sub: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.100.1
That gets me in to http://192.168.100.1/
is there any way I can flash through Mac is x or does this just work on windows ?
