if you just want to get at the certs or what ever try ipfull to enable factory mode and extract the certs
or try the same run from ram using 5100mod

OK, was able to boot from RAM using SB5100MOD. Went into 192.168.100.1 but the page is Motorola Surfboard page. No options to download. How do i dump flash?

disregard my previous post. got it to work. was using firefox which does not show GUI. IE shows GUI

to show the gui in firefox. enter IP: 192.168.100.1:666 then type your password in >>THEN either hit <tab> then <enter> or use the mouse to click the submit button. This is a known issue and is easily resolved with either using the mouse or tab enter...
