everything is made in china, so given the choice i'd choice i brand i'd trust (at leased when it's toxic)

lead (Pb) solder is the best. It is only toxic past a certain temperature.There are problems with the organic solders and other things such as "tin whiskers" <~the cause of one of the Galaxy satellites falling from the sky...
