sb5101, sb5100, cg814cpr v2, which better? - li28 - 30-08-2012

As topic, forget price, not a big different,
sb5100 stable ?
sb5101 faster ?
cg814cprv2, 4 lan , 4m flash 16m ram, faster?
Any one can give detail suggestion, or any better model suggestion?
Thanks

the netgear is the best due to the fact is has more ram and a 4port switch

Much better modem IMHO. Enjoy! Serial flash is the way to go with that one.

Your main issue with that one is if you are on a US based ISP where they force you to take their firmware. That's tricky to pull off w/o a donor 5101. They are hardcore cm's and you will love them. There will be no speed increase except for torrents....set it wide open till you choke it then back it down till disk overloaded goes away...

Totally badass D2 cm's...enjoy.

WELLL........

there's this thing...it's called a telnet boot log.

Post that after you edit the ip's and see if you get some help.
