the 1st pic is a 2100, anyways this image shows the 232(ttl) connection

tho i should add most 5101's a a silent bootloader and thus cant be flashed this way

Thanks, does that mean I need to seal a JTAG port on the board to plug the ttl cable?
Is there any thread about the whole process of this hardware mod?

i considered cropping the image to only the bit you'd need, now i know i should have

really appreciate for your patience to a hardware idiot like me.
So what I need to do now is to seal the 232 port according to this pic
and then I can use serial/ttl to flash the bin,
no other hardware mod need to make?
And the 0v=Gnd,
is that correct?

Thanks buddy,
I've learn a lot from you

One more question, forgive my stupid
Can I just plug one side of the DuPont line into that hole on the board instead of adding port to it?
