how to change docsis 1 mac and how to change upstream mode?
i'm from hungary my isp is fibernet and if upstream mode SCDMA then ~300KB/s upspeed but, if upstream mode QAM16 then ~800KB/s upspeed, that's why i need QAM16 upstream mode
incidentally with factory firmware QAM16 use
i hope understandable write but i low speak english :S
thx for help me
there's no command it's part of the config that is downloaded only way to change is change the config or mac
i not fully understand. the config into is it that change upstream mode?
because then what write in the config?
the config is downloaded when the modem registers with the network it contains the settings needed to get online
the config that is downloaded is matched to the mac

i know i know, but where in upstream mode setting?
i'll say it again you need to change the config or the mac
run the program in the picture above (without a router being in the way) let it run for a while it'll give you some different configs's that you can try to force
or run the program on a differant node/ubr and it will give you differant macs to try
