how do i log in to change the bpi?
it has no login page, i got to 192.168.100.1 and get the manager config screen but canchange nothing. this the software ver.
Software Version: SB5100-2.3.2.5-SCM01-NOSH

192.168.100.1:666 or 192.168.100.1/1337 i think

ok seeing as we have no idea what firmware your running we'll need to work around it, so download ip full http://www.haxorware.com/forums/attachment.php?aid=299
it's in Spanish but easy to work out what you want to do (plus you may be able to know what your firmware is)
so install the controles (just run the bat file in the controles folder) and start ip full
1.click the telnet tab
2.select a firmware from the drop down menu
3. click conectar
4. click activar bpi+ (or what ever bpi/docsis you want)
if the above dont work try a different firmware (step 2)

if none of the above work then things get funky

it didnt work but when i change to port 80 it connect but it didnt show writing to modem is there a different port and i am using a network cable here is a pic

start up hyper terminal and tell me what it says (eg what does the telnet login screen look like)
that picture your showing tells me nothing

ok but look now when i turn that program on i can get to the net but once i turn it off i get the provision screen?

i'm still trying to work out what firmware your running so i can give correct instructions
so you have still not told me what it says so i can work it out

It should be 192.168.100.1:1337
Make sure to set it with static ip when trying both.

set what up my nic card are the prgram
