A working sb5100 - splifey - 15-01-2012

I have a working sb5100 i want to exchange with another 5100 that i have because of some physical problems (What do you guys recommend at the time i have a pjtag )

if i get some certs( can i keep using them in different modems and nodes?)

1.just do a full dump and flash it to the other modem

2.no (it will be detected)

how would i go about doing that. Blackcat Read all save, Then switch, write all ?


One more thing. i was searching around.. does a full 2meg dump wrk no cer and work at the said speed? ( with the /premade)

Does a premade 2meg dump file mean it'll work at 2megs speeds with no certs?

lol no

2mb is the filesize of the dump not the speed rating
and yes you'll need certs from now on

Gotcha, I have come to another complication . Im out of solder ( I want to extract certs from the ogirinal working sb5100 and put them in another along with the mac )Im thinking full ip but where should i start ? Pms enabled Thanks
