Diagnostic modem??
#1
this just means that the modem has new firmware right???
or is the modem in Diagnostic mode on a 5100??

this is what this guy said about the sb5100

"you said in your earlier message the operating lights ont the modem come on when u power it up. now u say the modem did not ship with a power supply. as the auction description the only cable this auction comes with is the power supply which i included with the modem. it is a diagnostic modem you put it in standby and reset thru the diagonostic command menu. if you dont know how to configure the modem then it is a user error not a faulty modem."

how true is this??
