Is it possible to activate a Haxorware FW Modem by calling the ISP?

Not on CC...

Most d3 isp's can see Hax during the handshake if they have enabled that on their CMTS firmware. Most D3 isp's also REQUIRE that your modem take the cosigned push from them before you are given access to their network so it would be pointless to provision a cm with Hax as they will overwrite it anyways.

Now would the cm have to be a d3? or would this also apply to 1.1 and 2.0
since many CC still use the older cm, many systems that I know of, do
not have 100% d3.
