Moding sb5101 problem?Help

im trying to mod my sb5101 but in my computer i dont have a parallel port and i bought an usb to lpt adapter .... i cant seem to get it working so it detects it on blackat program or schwarze katze .... i soldered the 10 pins in the board .. the modem is brand new any help wil be appriciated

1. Parallel Ports Are Dead, It's 2012.

2. Just Give Up On The LPT.

3. Soldering In The SB5101 Is Pointless, You Can Just Tilt The Pins.

Buy An NT You Can Do So Much With It. It's Worth The Money And So Easy To Use. If The NT Is Too Expensive Or You Just Simply Want To Flash Modems Buy A FlashcatUSB.


you have no idea man the blackcat pjtag is the best tool to use if you really brick your sb5101 badly. I have brick alot of sb5101 and sb5100 modems that a usbjtagnt cannot fix but only the pjtag fix it.
