Dear,
Opfer1

i've been using this method a long also, but the main goal personally for me is to put the modem into factory mode and to properly execute the command to abort the ranging response.
cool hack tips:
1. use community strings from config file
2. use snmp walk or other means to get info from d2 or d3 modems eg: to get certs, upstream and downstream info, arp routes etc.
3. convert certs info from text to Certs
those is just a few suggestions,

There is no way for you to abort the ranging process. This is a "critical" part of the Handshaking process. Explain why you would 'want" to kill this "critical" command.

If this is not completed sucessfully, you will have a RNG-RSP error

If I would like to kill one critical command during registration, how would I be able to do that?

hi sorry for the very late reply, i have a 25mb modem that is legit and every now and then the internet stops, and it goes on for a few hours, but when i check the logs..its mostly about the ranging response, one of the tech guys said he got the ranging response disabled on his modem and works fairly well, but eventually my isp techs changed the modem and all is well, maybe for now :/
