SIGMA-X2 for my Motorola SB5100
#1
Hello,

I want to flash my old EURO-DOCSIS 2.0 SB5100 cable modem with SIGMA-X2. Just for playing and testing some things out. I just finished reading the book Hacking The Cable Modem. Very usefull book btw!

Is there a still a download available for SIGMA-X2 on the net? Or can anyone provide me one?

Thanks.

Why not use sb5100mod?

easier to get and very stable. A better solution is moto daiag firmware...totally stealth and you just need a few telnet cmds to do everything sigma does..

Thanks,

I am not familiar with sb5100mod or moto daiag firmware. What would you recommand me?

And why should i not use SIGMA-X2? Is it too old, or less stable than the firmware above mentioned?

Thanks in advance
