#1
anyone else having the same problem as me? well its not really a problem but more an oddity...

so my modem is online and working. except google.

when ever i try to goto google i get the broadband activation page. but if i put some random address in the address bar i get the page and my cnet works fine.

any ideas on this?

is the isp maybe[/align] blocking the usage of google as a precautionary measure?

strange
i always change my dns settings to google's public dns as my isp highjacks 404's to there own search page
i suggest you do the same http://code.google.com/speed/public-dns/

just incase your going to say you cant see it use a web proxy

maybe, but its not the first time this has happened. it seems that each time the necessity for a mac change arrives google is blocked.

im wondering if theres something being done to give people the impression that its not connected.
