Hello to all.
I am near San Francisco CA, and until today i had internet and all was good. Earlier in the day, the modem went offline, and since then i struggle with it. About 3 months ago, i had the same problem. I changed the MAC addresses and BPI Bypass and the problem was solved. Now, i tried the sam thing, i started reading on this forum and still nothing.
The lights go green, and the online one blinks and than it resets itself.
I also unplugged the coax cable, changed the config files and back to square1.

forcing configs no longer works so i guess you should remove that
also looks like your spoof is wrong
thinking the new security is active so get some certs

Ok!
After hours and hours (literally) of reading on sbhacker and here i made some progress (i think)
Now i have all the lights solid green and when i connect the ethernet cable the pc activity light flickers.
I still can;t get it online. I wasn't able to get the new certs. The new modem not available, and what the ones found on the sbhacker i assume that are banned.
P.S.
I know i'm new to all this but i really want/can learn. All the advice is welcomed.

Are you on Charter ?

If so, they have implemented new new changes like Docsis 3.0 & you cant clone a mac outside your node.
I had same problem.

thanks drewmerc, the modded modem is regular sb5101, i was wondering if i dump the cert. from sb5101n or sb5010i would it work?
