RE: noob questions
Starting off order something with Forceware if you don’t plan to flash it yourself
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Motorola-SURFbo...a6a8b9dea8

Then load on the ubfi 2 alpha, dragon, or bitware

RE: noob questions
Thanks for the quick response.

ok so here are my options then from an ebay seller "SB6141 with alphaware REV8 for $80" or an "SB6141 with forceWare - 1.4b1-mod2. for $70"

what is my best option?

Also once i get the box do i have to load something else?
If you wouldn't mind what are the steps or info i would need to get to have this box working?

It’s up to you but you will need a paying service cert and key from your isp area

RE: noob questions
ok so where i work which is about 20 miles from home i have access to the modem they are using the same company provider as what i have at home.
I also have a paying service at home but its become too expensive now for me, could extract info form here before i cancel the service?

Can i extract the information from these two modems i have access to? and how do i extract it? can it be retrieved by lan?

what area are you from
its going to be easier for you to ask someone here that is from your area to give you a cert and key FOR YOU TO TEST WITH
