virgin is only website i can go to
i've been using a haxorware'd modem now for 2 n half years and not really had a problem, til 2 days ago--
virgin went down in the area for about 7 hours, everyones TV phones n internet. when it came back on my modem couldnt connect, and it took alot of messing just to get in 192.168.100.1, i've got about 30 addresses and all of them take me to virgins activation page, and no further-- are all them addresses now useless or is it a redirecting issue???
PLEASE HELP

Digital certificates embedded into hardware devices enable service providers to authenticate remote devices before allowing access to networks and services.

Batch Certificate Issuance for Manufacturers

VeriSign Device Certificate Services is a high-volume, high-performance batch issuance certificate service that provides a fast, efficient, and cost-effective way to embed X.509 certificates into any type of hardware device during the manufacturing process. The X.509 certificate allows service providers to perform strong authentication of distributed hardware and prevent unauthorized or cloned devices from obtaining access.
How Device Certificate Issuance Works

Establish a robust PKI and certificate authority (CA) system without the cost and time-to-market burden of in-house PKI deployment and maintenance.

Device manufacturers order certificates in bulk by providing VeriSign with a list of MAC addresses, unique device IDs for the certificates or by providing a standard PKCS10 Certificate Signing Request.
VeriSign securely returns the issued certificates and private keys, if requested, to the manufacturers in an encrypted format.
The manufacturer embeds the certificates during the device manufacturing process.

Custom Device Certificates

Game consoles, digital video recorders, set-top-boxes, mobile phones, ATM machines and many more consumer hardware devices increasingly provide access to content. Our turnkey solution generates batches of digital certificates and private keys through an easy-to-use Web interface without the technical investment. This base platform is highly flexible and can be configured for specific industry needs.
CableLabs Device Certificates

A device certificate service designed for the cable industry, that allows cable modem manufacturers to quickly and cost-effectively embed digital certificates into cable modem devices for compliance with the latest industry specifications. VeriSign X.509 Level 3 digital certificates fully comply with DOCSIS requirements, defined by Cable Television Laboratories, Inc. (CableLabs).

as to getting them you get them from a subbed modem

How to extract certificates using jtag
Programs needed Toms Jtag utility and cmnonexp101.exe (search they are here somewhere)

Connect your modem and jtag to your computer and open toms jtag utility Then type in detect.

Then you need to enter tablist into the box at the bottom of the program. This should diplay all the sections of your modems memory
[Image: YuYKK.jpg]

The part we are interested in is the CFG part as this contains the cable modem certificates
so type getram CFG into the program. After a few seconds it should display getram: Complete as shown in the pic below.

We have now copied the file from the modems ram into your computers ram. The next thing we need to do is save this as a file so enter the command
save CFG
Make sure you save the file in the same directory as your cmnonxp101.exe file.
Now we need to open up a dos window and browse to where you saved cmnonxp101.exe eg C:\
and enter cmnonexp101.exe -e -f nonvol.bin
[Image: keTiE.jpg]

This should now extract all the certificates to your computer
[Image: UOGEC.jpg]

now browse to the directory where you ran cmnonexp101 from an there should be all your cable modem certificates
